Voices of Pride: Lancaster

Voices of Pride is a creative community project celebrating the stories, experiences and creativity of LGBTQ+ people through writing, poetry, art, photography and personal reflection. Open to contributors of all ages, the project provides a welcoming and inclusive space where people can share their voices, celebrate their identities and connect through creative expression.

The project will culminate in a professionally published anthology and a public exhibition showcasing selected artwork, photography and extracts from the collection, creating opportunities for wider community engagement and celebration. More than simply producing a book, Voices of Pride aims to preserve personal stories, encourage understanding, build connections and create a lasting legacy that celebrates the diversity, resilience and creativity of the LGBTQ+ community.
